This site has been develop with the leadership of Dr. Kathy Sanford from the University of Victoria and aims to enhance:
- collaborative professional learning opportunities among educators of all kinds – teacher candidates, experienced teachers, teacher educators and ministry education officers
- experiential exploration, implementation and documentation of BC’s draft curriculum by pre-service and in-service teachers; (with evidence-based feedback/recommendations provided to ministry executive)
- teacher education methodology that aligns with personalized teaching/learning practice
- classroom/school assessment practices that align with personalized learning approaches to the new curriculum implementation
This site offers a space for educators (e.g., new educators, experienced educators, post-secondary instructors, early childhood educators, teacher candidates, teacher educators, ministry education professionals, school administrators, district leaders, and more) to share ways in which they are working with new curriculum, competency and assessment materials/concepts — through videos, presentations, and other multimodal forms – to develop a network of ideas and connections across BC.
